Instructions for All Conference Attendees

To avoid confusion and delays in processing, write travel orders to the Forty-Ninth Navy and Marine Corps Public Health Conference, Hampton, Virginia. DO NOT write them to Navy and Marine Corps Public Health Center, Portsmouth, Virginia.

Before making reservations in government quarters, please read the "Transportation Information" section of this program. If you have chosen to stay in the Conference hotel instead of government quarters, Navy and Marine Corps Public Health Center requests that the order issuing authority include the following statement on your travel orders:

USE OF GOVERNMENT QUARTERS DURING THE FORTY-NINTH NAVY AND MARINE CORPS PUBLIC HEALTH CONFERENCE IN HAMPTON, VA, MARCH 19-25, 2010 IS IMPRACTICAL AND WILL ADVERSELY AFFECT PERFORMANCE OF THE ASSIGNED MISSION.

All military personnel active duty, reserve and civilian personnel who are Government Travel Card holders are required to identify the portion of their travel claim to be paid to the travel card contractor as mandatory split disbursement.
