Exposure Monitoring Course Prerequisites
- Course application endorsed by student's command EMC Application form
- Quota Request on command letterhead
- A completed math pre-test
Course enrollment is limited to the following personnel:
- Civilian GS Series 0640 (Health Technician - IH), or 0019 (Safety Technician. Personnel in other series will be considered on a case-by-case basis
- Active Duty or reserve E-6 or below, currently assigned as an Industrial Hygiene Technician or Safety Petty Officer, under the direct supervision of an Industrial Hygienist/IHO
This is a course designed for the new Industrial Hygiene Technician who will be actively conducting exposure monitoring (sampling) under the direct supervision of an Industrial Hygienist/Industrial Hygiene Officer, ashore or afloat. It is not designed for the degreed professional IH/IHO, who should select another venue if training is needed.

Course Cancellation Policy:
