Exposure Monitoring Course Prerequisites

  1. Course application endorsed by student's command EMC Application form
  2. Quota Request on command letterhead
  3. A completed math pre-test

Course enrollment is limited to the following personnel:

This is a course designed for the new Industrial Hygiene Technician who will be actively conducting exposure monitoring (sampling) under the direct supervision of an Industrial Hygienist/Industrial Hygiene Officer, ashore or afloat. It is not designed for the degreed professional IH/IHO, who should select another venue if training is needed.

Course Cancellation Policy:

To ensure the 10 student minimum enrollment for the course is met, cancellations must be made by e-mail to wpmc@nehc.mar.med.navy.mil, 10 working days prior to the first day of class. Commands will be notified when students do not comply.
