- Provide Navy hospitals, clinics, dental and research facilities worldwide with environmental management, quality assurance, and compliance oversight
- Coordinate with local, state, and federal regulatory agencies on environmental issues specific to the medical community
- Develop and implement comprehensive Environmental Management Systems (EMS) to ensure long-term compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and policies
Environmental Compliance Assistance
Environmental staff are available to answer questions and provide guidance on various programs and topics. Programs include industrial wastewater discharges; disposal, storage, and handling of solid, hazardous, and infectious medical wastes; air pollution control and emissions; storage tanks; spill prevention control and best management practices; drinking water; and natural and cultural resources.
