The Navy and Marine Corps Public Health Center has been providing scientific expertise in the areas of risk assessments and toxicology since 1991. Our trained professionals provide technical assistance worldwide in support of the Navy, Marine Corps, and other Department of Defense activities. Our responsibilities range from single risk issues or specific installation concerns, to comprehensive risk assessment of the potential adverse health effects caused by exposure to hazardous substance releases.
Our in-house staff, including industrial hygienists, toxicologists, environmental health scientists, engineers, and our dedicated contractors, aim to ensure that accurate chemical toxicity values, site-specific exposure factors, and appropriate public health concerns are considered in the preparation of risk assessment documents.
