Protecting the health and safety of workers is a major consideration for hazardous waste site remediation. NMCPHC provides environmental health and safety support to Navy and Marine Corps. The Navy and Marine Corps Public Health Center developed a Health and Safety Plan (HASP) checklist for hazardous waste sites. We designed the HASP checklist to help environmental managers evaluate their individual programs and ensure the work on their sites is done in both a safe and legal manner.
